So this will probably be deleted off of YouTube any second now, but it was probably one of my favorite scenes from the movie. It is the only time that I really liked Jasper.... Sad... But the scene was great. :) ENJOY! :)

TWILIGHT! - The Mandy Movie Review...
Ok, so I saw Twilight. Twice. On Friday. Once at 11am and once at 9:30pm. Yeah...
NOTE: If you haven't seen it or at least READ it, then you won't want to read this blog... I'm not holding back to protect the story. I'm telling you what I thought of the movie.
When I saw it at 11am (with Angie, Kaye, and Alissa), I LOVED it and wanted more. I couldn't wait! I just had one or two things that I would have changed. When I saw it at 9:30pm (with Angie and Jeremiah), I had a chance to critique it a little more - which was helpful since Miah didn't read the book and we had the car ride home from Heber...
*Jasper drives me crazy, but Jessica (one of the characters in Twilight) summed it up pretty much perfectly: "he always looks like he's in pain" SO TRUE!! That and it looks like he's trying to be all Edward Scissorhands-ish... But can't pull it off... It bothered me...
*Not enough Alice. I love her. And there wasn't enough of her. A vital part of her "story" was in Twilight (the book), but not the movie... That was a major deal to me...
*Character development in the movie wasn't up to par. You should care more about the characters than what I think someone who only saw the movie would. Like Jeremiah - this was his biggest complaint. He didn't really care about the characters. I think that if you have read the book that you might not notice this in the movie.
*Eyeliner. Edward's bottom eye liner throughout the entire movie drove me crazy.
*The meadow scene wasn't like it is in the book. And the sparkly isn't as sparkly. And the smelling doesn't really happen. And that made me sad because in the book, that is what sent my hormones a racing... Didn't happen in the movie...
*Rosalie over acts in the whole show and I didn't like her... But I didn't like her in the books either, so maybe it just spilled over for me...
*How they "run"... You can really sort of tell that they don't touch the ground...
*LOVED Alice's character. She was great. :) Basically what I pictured. (I am still sad that her presence and her story was shorter in the movie than it was in the book.)
*Liked how Edward was awkward around Bella. It makes sense to me because he considers himself a monster and pushed people away for "forever"... Basically he resigned himself to living without a companion and then this girl comes along and she intrigues him... He doesn't know how to act.
*When Bella is meeting the Cullen Family was pretty funny to me except for Rosalie...
*I really, really liked a 2-second part of the scene where Bella is putting all the pieces together that Edward is a vampire. She pictures HIM getting ready to "suck her blood". It's SMOKING HOT!!! I liked that a lot. Got me quite giggly. :)
*The "first kiss" scene in the movie... It was pretty great. Made me miss my passionate days... :) Did you know that it takes over 30 seconds for him to start moving in for the kiss before he actually makes contact with her lips? Yeah. I timed it the second time I saw it. :)
*Jacob and Mike. I liked them both a lot more in the movie than I did in Twilight.
*Jessica was perfectly cast. She is exactly what I pictured. :)
*Victoria... She's hot. And evil... Gotta love hot, evil chicks.
*Charlie and Billy Black. :) They were funnier in the movie than in the book - at least to me they were...

Jedd and Jessie are married!
Well, Jedd Shepherd (my childhood sweetheart; good friend; backup plan) is married. He is a husband. He married Jessie Post (whom I love!) on Friday morning. I am SO happy for them. :) They are amazing and I love them both!!! So here are some pictures showing you how beautiful they looked and maybe add a little incite into why I love them. :)
She was so happy! :) FINALLY!!! :)
Jedd and his brother Jeff
Jessie looked so LOVELY!
He looks paranoid!
Why be serious?
I don't know what he did, but I love the look on her face!
I think he was looking at the wrong camera...
Trying to lick his face! :)
OF COURSE he would flip off the camera
(in front of the temple)
He looked disgusted that there was cake / icing on his face!
There were nice pictures too!
Jessie and her Brothers
She is the youngest AND only girl!!! :)
I loved this picture!

A good day...
It's only a little after 4pm and I'm ready to declare it has been a good day. :)
My Jedd is married to his Jessie (whom I love!) and the wedding was wonderful.
Twilight was great (of course). It had cheesy parts and was mixed around some, but overall, I loved it and will probably see it again... today....
That is all for now. Pictures will come later. :)

Tomorrow, Tomorrow...
Another YAY moment for me... Today and Tomorrow will be busy days, but I can't wait.
TONIGHT:
I get to watch the Office and Grey's Anatomy and I don't have to scream at my kids the whole time to go back to bed because they are spending the night at Grandma and Grandpa Barlow's house tonight!!!!
TOMORROW:
5:30am - wake up to drive to SLC
7:00am - watch "the boy" (Jedd) marry "the girl" (Jessie) :) HOORAY!
11:00am - TWILIGHT, BABY! :) Poor hubby has to go pick up the kids from Heber.
1:30pm - gush about how much I LOVED Twilight while joining a herd of girls for a late lunch :)
5:30pm - pick up Angie and head on out to Heber City / Midway for the Reception with hubby and kids in tow!
And you know that there is going to be HAPPY tears and good feelings from the wedding and giddy excitement from Twilight and lots and lots of girl talk (sorry, Miah!)
CAN'T WAIT!!!

THANK YOU POEM
Lord, thank you for this sink of dirty dishes;
We have plenty of food to eat.
Thank you for this pile of dirty, stinky laundry;
We have plenty of nice clothes to wear.
And I would like to thank you, Lord, for those unmade beds;
They were so warm and comfortable last night.
I know that many have no bed.
My thanks to you, Lord, for this bathroom,
Complete with all the splattered mirrors, soggy, grimy towels and dirty lavatory;
They are so convenient.
Thank you for this finger-smudged refrigerator that needs defrosting so badly;
It has served us faithfully for many years.
It is full of cold drinks and enough leftovers for two or three meals.
Thank you, Lord, for this oven that absolutely must be cleaned today.
It has baked so many things over the years.
The whole family is grateful for that tall grass that needs mowing,
The lawn that needs raking;
We all enjoy the yard.
Thank you, Lord, even for that slamming screen door.
My kids are healthy and able to run and play.
Lord, the presence of all these chores awaiting me says
You have richly blessed my family.
I shall do them cheerfully and I shall do them gratefully.

NKOTB, BABY!!!
My younger self couldn't have been happier than I was last night.
Yesterday was the New Kids on the Block concert in Salt Lake City. You might think I'm crazy / silly / weird / wonderful - whatever. But I don't care. It was awesome. :) My friend Jenn and I went and worshiped the guys we were in love with back in the day. :) We had floor seats (which I was worried about at first) but the guys performed 4 rows behind us for part of the show. I was shakey and giggley and screaming and excited. Gotta love the high from a concert. :)
So here are some pictures in no particular order. There are probably more of Donnie than any of the others because he was the guy I was in love with back in the day. :)
(BTW: They look totally hot in person - better than in the late 80s early 90s.)
OH - And for all you American Idol Fans, David Archuleta was there. He was about 4 rows behind us. Of course, he did have security and like backstage passes and stuff, but I took a few pictures for you fans. :)

My Exciting (SAD) Little World...
The old me (ages Eight through about Twelve Year Old Mandy) is jumping up and down, clapping her hands, doing summer-saults, screaming in an annoying loud voice... Yeah. All of that. WHY????
That's right! They are touring again. And I was desperately in love with Donnie Wahlberg years ago... Bed sheets, posters upon posters, stickers, lunch box, the movie with the music videos, etc... I LOVED THEM!!! My aunt went to see them and I cried because she didn't let me go with her.
But that's all going to change. Tonight I go with my good girlfriend Jenn to see the boys who are all grown up and still sort of sexy to me... Sad... But yeah, I'm still excited. I feel a little dorky because I'll be honest with you, I don't know ANY of their new stuff. But the old stuff, you bet your booty I do! :) I even know the dances. :) Like I said, I was a little obsessed back in the day...
So tomorrow, I hope to post pictures or SOMETHING for all of you other closet back in the day NKOTB fans! :)
Hahaha!!! :) This is going to be awesome...

TWILIGHT, BABY!!!!
Michelle will probably not read this because of the title, but...
I know that I am a dork. But I also know that there are many more dorks out there that love this show. 10 more days crazy people!!! :) :) :)
I'm planning on seeing this show a couple of times. Probably like 5. In the theaters. Yeah... So I really hope I like it! :) I have already re-read it so that it will be fresh in my mind. You know, reading 3 fairly long books with the same characters in 6 days, they all somewhat run together. But now, I have just Twilight in my mind. I look forward to it.
Ah, I'm 15 again. How wonderful. :)
Anyway, I just wanted to share my excitement with you other wonderful "too old for high school romance books" people out there. :)

Today...
Today was super fun.
I created this account; forgot that it was DarTanion's "early day" at school (where he has to go to school a 1/2 hour early); forgot Jessie's gift at my house; forgot to take my Prevacid; showed up late to go shopping with Jessie; went shopping all over Salt Lake (which really WAS fun); and found out that I locked my keys in my car.
Yep. Fun.
I just laughed because I haven't done that in forever, but I was so excited to go shopping with Jessie that I just hurried out of the car and locked it. Not realizing that I left the keys in the ignition. Yep.
SO, Jeremiah and the kids have to drive from Provo to Heber to bring a key to unlock the door and then we all have to drive back to Provo. Cuz I'm a dork and locked my keys in the car.
HA! :) I should probably be angry with myself, but all I can do is laugh. But I do feel bad cuz Miah doesn't feel great, but he still took the kids on after working so that I could go play. And now he has to come up just to pick me up and unlock a door.
Lovely.
Just wanted to share that. :)

Super Quick "WHY"
I have created YET ANOTHER blog. Why?
Because I wanted to. :)
I wanted a place where I could put things that only I care about on there. Things like my ex-boyfriend getting married. And girls trips with Mandy , Jennifer, Angie or whomever. Our original blog will be for Family things. Pictures of the kids and stuff. My other blog is for my ranting about things that drive me crazy. This one - for things only I really probably care about.
That is all. Loves for now.
