HELP ME, Smart Blog People...

I need to know if I can put a calendar on a blog and then just update the calendars occasionally. Does anyone know if I can or how to do this? ALSO, I am trying to do a slideshow on the side bar and I can't get my pictures from FLICKR to load... Any ideas?
I am SO not a technology smart person...

Is something wrong?

Ever feel like something is just wrong?

Lately, I've been paranoid that there is something is wrong with me. I feel like I've gotten sick or nauseous more often. I can't seem to remember things like I used to. I always seem to be SO tired for no real reason.

I keep thinking - maybe I should go get checked out. Like a whole physical thing. Just to see. But honestly, if I'm a doctor and someone comes in and says "Well, I'm tired and nauseous and forgetful." - I'm probably going to think they are a hypochondriac or just a normal mom or something. Right? Am I being weird?

Tell me what you think because honestly, I don't know if I should see a doctor or if I am just being overly dramatic or something... Is this NORMAL as you get older? Or do you think that something could be wrong?

And, I'm gone....

I am heading to Florida! I'll be gone from Jan 9th til the 19th. Kids will be staying here with Grandma Barlow. This will be awesome.

I hope to check up on all of you people when I get back. But if something wonderful (or tragic) happens, email me. You might not get as lost in the many, many posts I will have to go through.

Great Cause...

For those of you who don't already know, I tend to "cyber stalk" people. Whether it be boys who I meet before they go on a mission and find absolutely FACINATING so I write them and stalk them on MySpace or where ever I can because I want to know more about what makes them tick (don't worry, Miah knows and isn't jealous or anything)! OR it be a mom of a boy who used to go to preschool with DarTanion who I find absolutely hilarious and wonderful for sharing her life. Well, this blog is from the latter. Her name is Laura and she is amazing and is spearheading a great giving opportunity. Ready?

We're going to Florida...

We're heading to Florida next Friday.

Not the whole family, just Miah and me. :) But I do feel a little guilty about that because I know that my boys would LOVE it there.... BUT, there is a few reasons (justifications) WHY we aren't taking them:

1. Our plane tickets were free (thanks to Euclid's Christmas Party 2007) and there were only 2 of them.
2. We've never been there before and we don't want to take our whiney kids there when WE don't even know where we are going or what we are doing.
3. The boys have school.
4. Miah's parents are coming with us and the suite is only 2 bedrooms (and less than $200 for the whole 9 days!)
5. It'll be nice to have a break (even though I know a few days into it I'm gonna have a breakdown from missing the kiddies so much and want to go home).
6. It's the BEST time to go to Disneyworld. It's their slowest time ever. :) YAY! (Wait, I guess that's not really a reason to NOT take the kids, but....)
   
7. NO money. We can't even really afford to go ourselves, but we're going to bankrupt ourselves with one last wonderful trip. :)
   

So yeah, you can see that it's just easier to NOT bring them, right?

I have to send a few big THANK YOU's to my parents (most specifically my mommy) and Miah's sister for watching the kids while we are gone. AND a big THANKS to Miah's parents for being part of a vacation club where we can get places to stay for super cheap. :)

So, be jealous of us. Hate us even. But I'm going to Disneyworld and YOU aren't! :) So HA! :)
