Baby Mine...

My kids are currently watching Dumbo in the other room.

And I can't watch it.

It makes me cry. I get so sad for the little guy. And for his mommy! And for his wonderful ears!



I have found a version of 'Baby Mine' sung by Alison Krauss that I really love. I'm going to try and do a slide show of my kiddos to the song. So when they do stinker things, I can remember how much I love them and get all emotional and lovey towards my kids (instead of an elephant). When I complete the slideshow, I'll post it...

Girls! Girls! Girls! (Weekend!)

So the Smith Family (my Mandy's family) gets together with "just the girls" at least once a year. For the last few years, I have been invited to come along (because, you know, I'm awesome)!! Did you miss last year's fun? Click HERE to check it out! :)

This year we stayed at my house and did fun things in the Provo area... There were 10 of us this year - Me, Angie, Mandy, Megan, Aubrey, Tammy, Shandy, Ashley, Kelsi and a friend who wished to stay anonymous... :) Oh - and baby Kiah (Angie's little one!) We all got together for dinner at the Olive Garden and a fun time (and GREAT food!) was enjoyed by all! :) Then we rented a couple of movies at the Red Box around 11pm, which we never did watch. We came back to my house and we all just visited. Now, conversations with the Smith girls always seem to turn 'naughty' - which is so much fun! :) We visited until around 2:30am...

We all started waking up around 9am. So guess what time we made it to IHOP for breakfast? 11:30am! SERIOUSLY! But it was a lot of fun. Then it was off to Walmart for a little shopping before we got to Trafalga in Orem. It was tons of fun. :) We played Mini Golf (I totally kicked butt!!!), rode the Go-Carts, played in the batting cages, went on all 3 of the 4-D movies, played arcade games and ate Dippin' Dots. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! :) Here are some pictures from Trafalga! :)

HAHAHAHA!!!! It's Just a Cold!!!

My hubby hasn't been feeling good. He's been coughing up a lung around our house lately. Seriously, this has been a really sick summer for our little household... But anyway... Yeah, it's Jeremiah's turn. He even missed a day of work, which he usually doesn't do. He's been coming home from work, eating soup and taking medicine and going to sleep. No help with kids, no help around the house, nothing...

Well, he finally went to the doctor on Tuesday because he was certain (and I was starting to think so) that he had Strep Throat, Pneumonia, or even Swine Flu (cuz guys at his work have been diagnosed with it). I've been giving him crap of how I had pneumonia, but I still was functional. And how I have been doing MY job, blah blah blah. We give each other crap like that all the time... So when he went to the doctor, I told him that I hoped something was wrong with him or I was never going to let him live it down. :)

So he calls me on Tuesday and says, so guess what I have? I guessed pneumonia, strep, swine flu... Nope. Nothing. A bad cold. HAHAHAHA!!! That means I get to tease him for forever about it!!! HAHAHAHA!!! I love having something to tease him about... :)
