Oh, my sneaky little Archer...

My kids... I love them, but lately, I've wanted to lock them in a tower with a nanny while I sleep or scrapbook or clean my house and enjoy it being clean... Something. They've been driving me crazy. But one in particular has me pulling my hair out...

My Archer "Moe" asleep in a toy bucket...

Archer is my "sneaky" child. He watches me quietly. He'll play with a train and just sort of keep an eye on me. Then when I am distracted (by the computer, a good tv show, helping Tanion with homework, changing Robyn, going to the bathroom - whatever), he gets into mischief. The kid loves messing with my things. Especially my scrapbook things. I don't know if it's the stickers, the cool scissors, the colorful paper, the ink pads, or the doublesided sticky tape, but my boy LOVES getting into my scrapbook stuff. And loves to destroy them.

Since Sunday (yeah, like the last 4 days) he has cut up 3 pictures and several pieces of paper, stamped some halloween things on his wall in his bedroom, spilled strawberry milk on a bunch of paper, colored his fingers with markers, colored on pictures, opened up 3 ink pads and squished them together, hid several pairs of craft scissors, unrolled 2 BRAND NEW rolls of craft tape, used up 3 pages of stickers and probably other things that I will discover soon enough...

HONESTLY, I watch this kid! He is sort of a loner when it comes to playing. He would rather be by himself in his room with a Thomas the Train movie on and playing trains. So I get myself distracted with my other 2 kids, the computer, whatever and then I go in to check on him and he has sneaked my things into his room and started the destruction...

So I have put in a request with my hubby to either build me something I can LOCK (and keep Archer out of) for my scrapbook stuff, or to get me a dresser and child-proof it. In the mean time, if you would like to have a partially athsmatic, totally cute, Thomas obsessed, really sneaky almost 4 year old for a few hours / days / weeks - give me a call. I'm sure I will want him back because he really is lovable and cute, but this week, I am ready to give him away.

You know, I would miss him, but it would be nice to NOT have to worry about my stuff!!!

When my kids do something that drives Jeremiah crazy, Jeremiah always tells them he's going to sell them to the indians. :) DarTanion did something and Jeremiah said "What am I going to do with you?" DarTanion shrugged his shoulders and said "I guess just sell me to the indians."

HILARIOUS!
